Tim Morse has more than thirty years of experience as a photographer, video producer and filmmaker, overseeing large and small projects in the corporate and educational sectors as well as a major commitment in recent years to the world of non-profits. He has produced dozens of multi-media productions, notably a thirty minute multi-media show for United States Swimming (USOC), six short films for The Wang Center (Now Citi Center) for the Performing Arts in Boston, a video on Alzheimer’s Disease for The New England Sinai Hospital, and a forty-five minute documentary detailing the first fifty years of MIT’s Lincoln Laboratory research facility. In 2005 he and his wife Karen co-produced a feature length documentary, "Secret Courage – The Walter Suskind Story," featured in another section of this site.
As a still photographer, Tim began his career shooting National and International swim meets and became Harvard University’s sports photographer, where he continues to shoot. His clients span a wide range of corporate, not-for-profit and educational organizations. Tim was commissioned by the Cambridge YWCA to create a permanent exhibit of eighteen black and white portraits entitled "Women of Distinction." He has photographed two presidents, numerous international events including the 1996 Olympic Games, and his work was featured in the exhibit "Champions of American Sport" at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C.
Karen Morse has worked with Tim in all aspects of the business over the last thirty years. Her formal training includes photography, education, travel planning and business management. Karen was co-producer and co-director of our documentary film, “Secret Courage” and she was responsible for much of the content and story-line editing of the film. Upon completion of the film, Karen’s primary responsibility became oversight and management the film project. In this role, she handles marketing, educational outreach, communications and fund-raising for the film project. In addition, Karen produces promotional collateral, manages our website and is responsible for daily logistics and planning for our office. Karen has the unique ability to see the forest and the trees and is invaluable in keeping the myriad projects of Morse Photography and M&M Films on track.
Dana Bille of Dana Bille Photography has been a photographer for 15 years and he has been part of the Morse Photography team since his college years. A graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, Dana specializes in digital imaging from capture to output. He is an expert in Photoshop, with color management and the set-up of image servers as particular areas of expertise. As a photographer Dana has extensive experience in public relations photography and location photography for film. Dana is an invaluable resource, especially on location. He has collaborated with Tim on numerous photo shoots over the years and he traveled to the Netherlands twice as part of the M&M film crew shooting "Secret Courage".
Jay Duchin of Duchin Productions has been working in video for nearly 25 years and working with Tim for as long. As a videographer, he produces broadcast and corporate videos, with a specialty in motorsport documentaries. He is a perfectionist and his video projects are known for their clean, artful lighting and excellent sound. In addition to his skills as a video producer, Jay is an avid tinkerer and inventor, having created sophisticated camera mounts and jib arms as well as virtually any custom dohickey to make a camera stable. If you want your production to go without a hitch, Jay is the man to call.
Christopher Hossfeld is a composer and conductor based in Montréal and southern New Hampshire. His music has been performed at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D. C., Yale and Harvard Universities, the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and various other concert halls and churches around the country. Christopher is currently a Lecturer in Music at Southern New Hampshire University, where he is the university's first full-time music faculty, in charge of directing the University Chorus and teaching music history classes.
