The Makor Center of the 92nd Street Y, site of our first New York City screening

The first New York City screening of “Secret Courage” was held at the Makor Center of the 92nd Street Y. A charming, old world building, the Makor Center provided both a screening room and a lovely reception area for our event.

Our kind hostess, Alice Roaenwald, planned a delightful reception that was enjoyed by sixty invited guests. Alan and Cecily Morse, our cousins and fundraising coordinators, created our guest list and Alan warmly welcomed the crowd and gave us an opportunity to talk about the film and our fundraising efforts.

After enjoying fabulous food and drink, the guests moved upstairs to the screening room where they were welcomed by Tim Morse. After the screening, a thoughtful discussion was led by five members of the film team.

Our special thanks go to Ali Siegler and Naomi Lopin of the Makor Center for their professionalism and support in planning and executing this event.
